Practitioner No-Shows, Rescheduling and Cancellations

My meeting was confirmed. What should I do if my Practitioner doesn’t show up? During the session, please allow 10 minutes; sometimes Practitioners may be slightly late due to unforeseen circumstances. If your booking was confirmed and the Practitioner does not show up after the 10 minutes your session will be credited for reschedule. If you would prefer a refund please contact info@bookme.pro for assistance. 

Rescheduling and Cancellation by Practitioner

  • A Practitioner can cancel or offer a reschedule at any time before the session starts, even after confirming the booking.
  • If the Practitioner declines or cancels the session, your payment is fully refunded.

Cancelling or Rescheduling a Session as a User

When can a user cancel a paid session? Users are required to attend all confirmed and paid sessions. Cancellations are not permitted. Sessions may be rescheduled up to 24 hours prior to the scheduled time. Rescheduling within 24 hours of the session, or failure to attend (no-show), will result in the session being forfeited and cannot be rescheduled.

When can a user cancel a free chemistry session? You may reschedule or cancel a free chemistry session at any time before your session starts. Please try to cancel as soon as possible to allow time for other potential users to take your place. 

How to reschedule or cancel a session? Log in to BookMe, click on your profile icon, then go to “Bookings” and select reschedule or cancel for that particular session. 

Booking a Session

How long does it take for a Practitioner to respond? You can book a session anytime the Practitioner has available times. Practitioners have up to 24 hours to confirm a booking. If you book very close to the session start time, it may not be accepted or confirmed on time. Same-day confirmation is not guaranteed and you will be refunded if the booking is not confirmed.

How does a user know their session is confirmed? You will first receive an email acknowledging your booking request (please check junk mail). The session is not officially confirmed until you receive a confirmation email.

My booking says confirmed but I did not receive an email? You may also check the “Bookings” section under your BookMe profile to confirm the appointment status.

During Video Sessions

What if I accidentally exit the video session? Return to the BookMe homepage and go to your profile and select “Bookings” and click ‘Join Call again’ to re-enter the session.

What if there are technical difficulties during the session? If you have technical issues that significantly impact the session, please send an email to info@bookme.pro and we will investigate the issue. Please ensure your microphone and camera are set-up prior to the session. Practitioners are not responsible for your technical issues nor obliged to extend session time due to technical issues on your side. 

What if I am late? You should contact the Practitioner on BookMe messages as soon as possible and let them know approximately how late you will be and ask them to wait. However, this may mean you miss valuable session time.

Emergencies and Last-Minute Changes

Can a Practitioner cancel at the last minute? Yes. Emergencies or other circumstances may require them to cancel even after confirming and within 24 hours. You will be offered a reschedule or full refund.

What if a user has an emergency or last-minute change? If the user needs to cancel or reschedule within 24 hours of the session, BookMe cannot reschedule or refund. The session will be considered missed. You are welcome to book another session.

What should a user do in a crisis? BookMe is not an emergency service. Call your local emergency number (Finland: 112, UK: 999) or contact a doctor or crisis service immediately bookme.pro/sos

Payments

How are payments handled? Payments go through Stripe. BookMe does not handle or store payment information. Once a Practitioner confirms your appointment, the payment is processed. 

Tips for Bookings

  1. Always wait for confirmation emails before assuming a session is booked. 
  2. Allow extra time for Practitioners to confirm or reschedule. 
  3. Use BookMe messages as the primary communication channel.
