Bio
With a distinguished 30 year career in corporate environments, I am a senior business leader, highly skilled facilitator and experienced coach. Given my commercial experience, I have first hand experience of the challenges facing aspiring and experienced business leaders. I understand the complexities of balancing leadership responsibilities, organisational priorities, stakeholder management, team development and life outside work.
I am passionate about empowering people to unlock their growth potential and take back ownership of their career. I leverage my marketing background, bringing the use of metaphor to my coaching work, to help individuals positively reframe their outlook and elevate their confidence. I have extensive experience of coaching individuals at all levels within the organisation, as well as teams and group work.
I am outcome focused and draw on a range of practical tools and frameworks, particularly in relation to personal strengths and aspects of emotional intelligence, to help clients gain greater awareness and clarity.
Whilst my clients have brought a wide range of topics to coaching, I specialise in careers and transitioning coaching for those in senior roles and my coaching experience has covered many typical leadership agendas.
Experience
Typically my clients are individuals who are 'stuck' in their career pathway and are unsure of how or where to go next. Perhaps they've been unsuccessful in promotion or interview and their confidence has taken a knock and they're left questioning their future or their self-belief. Clients also work with me when they've reached a certain level in their career but are no longer fulfilled or energised by the work they do, and find their purpose compromised and are left unsure as to what their options are.
I also work with clients to help prepare them for interviews and promotions and also work with them to identify an actionable, achievable and aligned 100 day plan to successfully embed within the organisation once they move into their new role.
Many of my clients have faced redundancy, often for the first time, and are desperately trying to navigate the emotional rollercoaster of the process, whilst also trying to maintain self-worth, confidence and clarity about where and what to do next for work. I help them to gain clarity, confidence, identify and reframe their transferable skills, work with them on their personal brand to achieve maximum impact in the job market.
Understanding your strengths and how you can use them as critical elements of your personal brand is work I am asked for by clients. Likewise, I am often asked to help my clients develop or enhance their business development skills to elevate their personal brand, to identify new clients/customers, to raise profile in the market or to deepen relationships with existing clients or customers. I am able to draw on my extensive, senior Marketing & Business Development career to enable my coaching clients to feel more confident to approach this element of their work.
Qualifications
I have 15 years coaching experience both in-house and external coaching. I am an EMCC Senior Practioner and ILM Level 7 Diploma qualified in Executive Coaching & Mentoring. I have also undertaken in-house training to coach leaders navigating the challenges of neurodiversity - either in themselves or in those that they lead.
I am a Master Practitioner in Strengthscope as well as Master Practitioner in the EQi2.0 and 360 emotional intelligence assessments.
