Bio
Alice Stern | ADHD & Neurodivergent Coach
I’m a CPD-accredited ADHD and Neurodivergent Coach with an MSc in Child Development from University College London (UCL). I specialise in supporting individuals with or without a diagnosis of AuDHD, autism, ADHD, and other neurodivergent profiles, offering a strengths-based approach that embraces difference, not disorder. My coaching helps clients develop strategies tailored to their unique cognitive styles, focusing on increasing self-awareness, confidence, and success on their own terms.
With a background in research, advocacy, and direct coaching, I work with individuals to navigate challenges related to executive function, self-regulation, and identity. I provide post- and pre-diagnostic support, helping clients understand their neurodivergence and implement practical tools that align with how their brains work. I also support clients in workplace-related challenges, including identifying and implementing reasonable adjustments, managing professional responsibilities, and developing personalised strategies to thrive at work.
A key area of my coaching focuses on addressing Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria (RSD), a common but often overlooked experience for ADHD individuals. I help clients recognise how RSD impacts their emotions, self-perception, and relationships, providing tools to manage sensitivity to criticism, build resilience, and promote self-compassion.
My passion for neurodiversity advocacy extends beyond coaching. I actively challenge stigmas surrounding neurodevelopmental conditions, promoting inclusive, person-centered approaches that recognise each individual's strengths. As a mother, I bring personal insight into navigating support systems and understanding the real-life impact of neurodivergence on daily life. My work is grounded in empathy, lived experience, and evidence-based strategies, ensuring that every client feels seen, heard, and empowered to move forward with confidence.

Experience
With a background in psychology, child development, and neurodivergent coaching, I have worked across multiple fields to support individuals in both personal and professional settings. As a CPD-accredited ADHD and Neurodivergent Coach, I help clients develop personalised strategies to navigate executive function challenges, emotional regulation, and self-awareness. My work extends into career coaching, assisting individuals in securing reasonable adjustments, managing professional responsibilities, and overcoming challenges such as Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria (RSD), which is closely linked to ADHD.
Beyond individual coaching, I collaborate with key stakeholders, including doctors, educators, and support groups, to bridge gaps in understanding neurodivergence. I facilitate connections between clients and professionals, ensuring that support is holistic and personalised. A core focus of my work is helping individuals and professionals recognise the diverse presentations of ADHD and neurodivergence, beyond outdated diagnostic criteria.
I also engage in academic writing and research within psychology, producing high-quality content that contributes to the academic and neurodevelopmental fields. This work ensures I remain up to date with emerging research, further informing my coaching practice. My MSc research at UCL explored early ADHD diagnosis, family support networks, and person-centred approaches, reinforcing my commitment to accessible and individualised support.
In addition to my work in neurodevelopment, I have experience in the creative industries, founding and managing a wellness-focused events business. I have also worked as an origami artist and event consultant, designing interactive experiences for major brands like Spotify UK and Liberty London. These creative endeavours have deepened my understanding of engagement, focus, and mindfulness - skills that influence my coaching approach today.
Throughout my career, my focus has remained on empowerment, inclusion, and breaking down barriers for neurodivergent individuals. My diverse experiences have given me a broad yet deeply personal perspective on navigating systems, advocating for support, and implementing practical, lasting strategies for success.
Qualifications
CPD-Accredited ADHD Coaching Certification
As a CPD-accredited ADHD coach, I specialise in coaching specifically tailored for neurodivergent individuals, recognising that traditional coaching methods are often ineffective for ADHD and other neurodivergent minds. My training emphasizes executive function support, motivation, self-regulation, and personalised strategies that align with the unique ways neurodivergent individuals process information, emotions, and challenges. My approach prioritises practical, strengths-based tools that empower individuals to navigate daily life, work, and relationships in a way that works for them.
Master of Science in Child Development from UCL
This is accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS) and provided advanced knowledge in neurodevelopmental conditions, including ADHD, autism, and atypical development, as well as the brain-body connection, social psychology, and cognitive processes.
