Nic KidstonCertified Coach
When you’re responsible for leading others, making complex decisions, and holding everything together, it can be surprisingly difficult to find space to think clearly.
Many of the leaders I work with are highly capable people who others rely on — founders, senior professionals, and executives navigating moments where the stakes are high and the path forward isn’t always obvious.
From the outside things often look successful.
Behind the scenes, they may be facing questions such as: How do I lead effectively through uncertainty or change? How do I step into a bigger role with confidence? How do I balance strategic thinking with the human side of leadership? What comes next for me and the work I care about? Where is 'me' amidst the
These are not problems of capability. They are the natural challenges that arise when you are leading at a higher level.
Coaching creates the rare space to step back from the noise, think deeply, and move forward with clarity.
How I Work
I work with thoughtful, capable leaders who want to lead with greater clarity, confidence, and impact.
Our conversations create a calm but focused thinking space where you can: untangle complex situations explore what really matters challenge assumptions and patterns reconnect with your strengths and perspective turn insight into clear, practical action
Clients often describe our sessions as both grounding and energising — a place where they can think openly, gain new perspective, and leave with renewed focus.
What Clients Often Bring to Coaching
Many of my clients are navigating moments such as: stepping into senior leadership roles leading teams through organisational change building healthy cultures and high-performing teams managing the pressure and responsibility of leadership shaping new ventures or strategic ideas wanting space to reflect, refocus, and reconnect with purpose
Coaching helps them move from feeling stretched or uncertain to clearer, calmer, and more decisive in how they lead.
Me and my Approach
I’m Nic Kidston, an EMCC Accredited Senior Practitioner Coach. I work with leaders, teams, professionals, and founders who are navigating moments of growth, change, or transition — people who carry significant responsibility and want space to think well about what comes next.
My coaching combines strategic insight with psychological depth, helping leaders move from reflection to decisive action and from intention to meaningful impact.
I draw on a range of evidence-based coaching approaches — including Solution-Focused Coaching, Cognitive Behavioural Coaching, Gestalt, Systems Coaching, and Positive Psychology — to help clients navigate complexity, challenge unhelpful patterns, and unlock new possibilities for leadership and growth.
Alongside these frameworks, I bring deep listening, thoughtful challenge, and sharp curiosity about both the person and the wider system they are operating within.
Clients often tell me my particular strength lies in quickly grasping complex situations and illuminating new perspectives that create momentum for change. Our conversations help them step back from the pressure of day-to-day leadership, see situations with greater clarity, and make confident decisions about what comes next.
The result is coaching that creates both personal insight and practical movement — enabling leaders to think more clearly, act more intentionally, and lead with greater confidence and impact.

I bring over twenty five years of leadership experience including roles as Co-CEO, Deputy CEO, and Director in national organisations. Throughout my career, I’ve led strategy, operations, and culture change — supporting teams to stay focused, motivated, and connected to purpose, even in complex and uncertain times.
Before becoming a full-time coach, I spent much of my career helping mission-driven organisations design and deliver impact through social innovation. These experiences taught me how people and systems grow best: when there’s space for reflection, trust, and courage to experiment.
Now, I work with senior leaders, founders, and emerging change-makers across sectors. My coaching combines strategic insight with psychological depth, helping clients move from reflection to action, and from intention to impact. Clients tell me my super power is understanding complexity and igniting possibilities for change.
I hold a Professional Certificate in Executive Coaching and a PGCert in Coaching for Behaviour Change from Henley Business School, and I’m a Senior Practitioner Accredited Coach with EMCC Global. I also undertake regular supervision and continuous professional development to ensure my practice remains grounded, ethical, and evidence-based.
