Bio

I am an Integrative Counsellor with many years of experience in counselling, I am committed to guiding individuals on their healing journey. Specialising in trauma recovery and resilience building, I employ evidence-based practices within an integrative, client-centred framework to address emotional, physical, and psychological well-being.

Outside of my counselling practice, I enjoy walking my dog and paddleboarding—activities that nurture my own mental health and allow me to practice mindfulness while connecting with the outdoors. I encourage my clients to explore their own way to foster a deeper understanding of the mind-body connection and holistic well-being.

Experience

As an Integrative Counsellor with nearly a decade of experience working in Private Practice and also for an Agency I have been privileged to support NHS and 999 Personnel. This has included long-term and short-term work. I enjoy supporting individuals in overcoming life’s challenges and these have included those who have wanted help with OCD, Anxiety, Bereavement and many other issues including Trauma and those who are neurodiverse.

My commitment to empowering clients through trauma recovery and resilience-building is at the heart of everything I do. With a compassionate approach and a focus on holistic well-being, I strive to create a safe, nurturing space for healing and growth.

Specialising in trauma recovery, I work with individuals dealing with anxiety, PTSD, and stress-related challenges. My integrative approach combines evidence-based techniques with personalised care, ensuring that each client’s journey is tailored to their specific circumstances. Whether it’s through mindfulness practices, cognitive-behavioural strategies, REWIND therapy or exploring the mind-body connection, my goal is to empower clients with tools to navigate life’s complexities.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of witnessing profound transformations. Clients who once felt overwhelmed by trauma have found new strength, resilience, and confidence in their lives. These moments of growth are what drive my passion for counselling and reaffirm my belief in the power of integrative therapy.

I firmly believe in practicing what I encourage my clients to do. Spending time outdoors, whether walking my dog or paddleboarding, is essential to my mental health. These activities help me stay grounded, practice mindfulness, and appreciate the connection between mental and physical well-being. I encourage my clients to explore their own paths to self-care.

Looking ahead, I am committed to expanding my skills and knowledge to better serve my clients. My vision is to continue creating a supportive and empowering space where individuals can heal, grow, and thrive.
