Kay Burdis-Hunt - Life Coach
Bio
Leaving home at 17 I served in the armed forces and then in civi street my working experience includes logistics, recruitment & HR.
Following a personal interest in human behaviour I embarked on a psychology degree, gaining a greater understanding of the link between emotions, thoughts and behaviour and the impact of these on relationships, career and wider social interactions.
Working then for many years at a senior level in mental health I developed empathy, a non-judgemental approach and a level of professionalism and ethics which remains with me today. I trained as a Life Coach utilising cognitive behavioural theory in 2016 and further qualifications in stress management and performance coaching. Recently I completed a Masters’ degree in Psychology, coaching young people for wellbeing and resilience and an Advanced Diploma in Mental Health and Wellbeing coaching.
