Bio

Being genuinely understood can feel grounding — it can ease the pressure you’re carrying, sharpen your view of what’s going on inside, or simply help you reconnect with who you are or you would like to be. My intention is to walk alongside you as you explore whatever currently feels heavy, confusing, or important, whether that’s worry, transition, or a sense of being out of touch with yourself.

I work online, offering sessions shaped around your pace and your priorities. In our time together, you’re invited to show up exactly as you are. As a counsellor who works from a person-centred foundation, I’m committed to creating an atmosphere that feels steady, warm, and free from judgement Hopefully, somewhere you can settle in and take a breath. There’s no expectation to perform, explain yourself perfectly, or rush toward solutions. I view therapy as a collaborative relationship rooted in respect. You bring your story, your feelings, and your way of seeing the world; I bring curiosity, care, and a willingness to meet you where you are. Many people find that this way of working helps them: • Understand themselves more deeply • Notice patterns that shape their emotions or behaviour • Calm an overwhelmed or tangled mind • Make choices that feel more authentic • Build confidence and self-kindness • Reconnect with meaning, direction, or belonging

Often it’s the subtle changes — a softer inner voice, a moment of lightness, a bit more room to breathe — that begin to shift things.

People often tell me I bring a grounded, steady presence. I’m warm, straightforward, and easy to be with, yet I’m also gently honest when it’s helpful. Many clients who’ve felt pressured, unheard, or misunderstood elsewhere say this space feels different — a place where they can finally relax and be themselves.

Therapeutic Approach

My practice is grounded in the person-centred approach, developed by Carl Rogers, which holds that individuals have within them the resources for growth and healing. I offer unconditional positive regard, empathic understanding, and congruence to support clients in exploring their inner world at their own pace. I also draw on elements of solution-focused and non-violent communication approaches to meet each client’s unique needs while maintaining the integrity of the person-centred ethos.

Experience

As a BACP-registered counsellor, I bring extensive experience in providing therapeutic support across various settings, from immediate crisis intervention to long-term person-centred care. My professional background includes managing dedicated support lines where I address complex issues such as workplace-related stress, relationship challenges, and the unique anxieties associated with cultural adjustment and refugee integration. I have also spent several years specializing in text-based crisis management, offering high-level risk assessment and emotional support to individuals facing mental health emergencies. My practice is further informed by a previous career in the travel industry, which gives me a deep understanding of organizational dynamics and the pressures of the modern workplace. I am fully bilingual and offer counselling services in both English and Greek.
