Bio
Empowering Change Through Understanding: Trauma, Neurodiversity, and Resilience
For over a decade, I’ve worked on the frontline — as a police officer, a trauma prevention expert, and a coach — witnessing firsthand the effects of unprocessed trauma and misunderstood neurodiversity. These experiences fuel my passion for creating safer, more compassionate systems, both at home and in the workplace.
I work with families and individuals who want to break cycles of stress and disconnection. Through trauma-informed coaching, I help parents understand behaviour, nurture emotional regulation, and build stronger relationships — without shame or overwhelm. My approach blends psychology, movement, and mindfulness to create sustainable change, especially for neurodivergent families and women who (like me!) are likely late-diagnosed and just-about-figuring-things-out.
The heart of my work is transformation. I bridge the gap between research and real life, making complex concepts simple, actionable, and empowering.
If you’re ready to build understanding, develop real resilience, and create meaningful change — let’s connect.
Experience
I have worked across the public sector in mental health and policing for over a decade, whilst studying for almost 9 years to deepen my knowledge on psychology, mental health, wellbeing, neurodiversity and the link between trauma and somatic healing. After I qualified as a psychologist, I travelled to Peru and immersed in a 200 hour yoga teacher training, as I believe healing begins in the body and a whole-person approach is where the magic happens.
I found working with clients in a 1:1 and intimate group setting the most transformative and have moved into private practice with Well Happy Minds, where I am able to work with neurodivergent women, families and young people to achieve positive change and self acceptance.
