Janis Sinclair - Psychotherapist and Clinical Supervisor, My work is grounded in authentic, human conversations, where you feel truly seen, heard, and understood.
Bio
At 65, with 48 years of marriage and two grown-up children, my counselling journey has been a profound source of self-awareness and understanding. This journey has shaped my path and guided me to where I am today.
My journey as a Counsellor & Psychotherapist began in 2011 at the University of Stirling, where I earned my qualifications. Since then, I have evolved into a Counselling Supervisor in 2013, blending my lived experiences with professional expertise to offer a compassionate and understanding approach to therapy. I’m not just a therapist—I’m a human being with my own story, which informs my practice and deepens my connection with my clients.
My approach is rooted in person-centred therapy, creating a supportive space where your needs and goals lead the way. I integrate a range of therapeutic modalities, including CBT, systemic practice, solutions-focused therapy, coaching, ADHD coaching, and children’s specialization, tailoring each session to you. This comprehensive approach ensures we can address your unique needs with confidence and expertise.
Our work together is a collaborative exploration of how your past shapes your present. We work hand in hand to release limitations and embrace new possibilities. Like the interconnected cogs of a clock, our work brings balance, empowering you to create meaningful change.
